My Academic Papers and Favorite Korean Drama

Assalamualaikum wbh...

Nope, this entry isn't about Seoul, as yet. I'm very much in working mood right now. But I need to detach myself from the mood, really. So I've decided to pen my thoughts here. Very short one I hope. Writing thus far has always been an effective method for me to detach from unwanted/unneeded feeling-sadness, excitement, etc. But like reading, I often ended up taking too much time to do the activity, until FB and Twitter arise. But not all things can be scribbled in the SNS though.

Currently two of my papers are in their final phase of acceptance for publication in journals. One is the paper about IJN, presented in USM regional tourism conference last 2010. The other one is the paper on halal marketing, presented by one of my lecturer in Dubai last year (2011). I've just done with the IJN paper, so nothing to worry much, just need to wait to have it appears in the journal in some more time. The halal marketing paper requires deeper scanning, as one of the the reviewer even sent me a number of articles for further reading to help me with the revision. It means this reviewer has high expectation from it, and I'm not the kind of person who'd be happy to smash the expectation down. When this reviewer has high expectation on the paper, my expectation is even higher.

In the spirit of Kim Joo Won of Secret Garden, I often realized asking myself the same question when I'm done with my works after watching the drama.

"Is this the best? Are you sure? If you cannot answer it do it again!"    "-"

Now you know why I love a number of Korean dramas ney ;)

Wassalam.
