The New 2011

Assalamualaikum wbh and selamat sejahtera,

While it has been halfday through the new year, I'll still offer my new year wish as it is; Happy New Year to all readers. May 2011 remarks the very best of ourselves through our lifetime.

As I've been spending the last few nights (and a couple of days) at the end of 2010 in front of the idiot box (I won't suggest so judging from what it has to offer nowadays), I couldn't help but to notice that we're celebrating much of the older generations creativity. To name a few, television has been broadcasting classics like Gone With the Wind and the Indiana Jones films, apart from a Hindustan film Chak Dei India (it has been quite some times since I last watched Shah Rukh Khan appearance). I'm not very familiar with those classics, but I'm very interested to learn about the current stage of technology they were using to produce such productions because they were, in my novice opinion, so classic (saved Chak Dei India, of course). And I've just learnt that Indiana Jones is not a film produced in the millennium era (I'm referring to the first film of the franchise). That's not the only thing I've learned about it. Indiana Jones has been recognized as the 2nd greatest fictional character OF ALL TIME by Time magazine last year (2010), surpassed only by no other than Sherlock Holmes. I'd just realize about the impact of this phenomenon, which compelled me to write it out here. So let's go straight to the point now. This is the era where genius is much celebrated.

What defines these two characters? They are both geniuses. Holmes is a renowned, celebrated detective whose character inspired a great number of investigators in various fields around the globe (apart from Shinichi, I'm also one of the statistics). His priced quality? The meticulousness in investigating. That's genius. Jones is a respected archeologist popular for his passion for his subject. That's also genius. In fact, the two mentioned qualities are shared by both our geniuses; meticulousness and passion.

I would strongly suggest those who are interested to be a celebrated genius to study the two characters in great details. I've fall in love with both characters in no time and is still studying them.

Again, Happy New Year to all. I'll be celebrating 2011 only once in my lifetime, so I wish to live it to its fullest.

Wassalam.
